“This article explores the concept of true happiness, offering insights and actionable steps to cultivate joy and fulfillment from within.”

When I started writing this article, I asked myself a few questions like…….

“How do I live my life?”

“What constitutes the best life?”

“How can I live a truly fulfilling and meaningful life?”

“Many people struggle to define a truly fulfilling life, leaving them feeling lost and uncertain.”

Most of the time people don’t have clear or conclusive answers to these questions which are rationally convincing.

So, let’s understand what the purpose of life is.

Of course, it’s HAPPINESS. The goal of life is to become HAPPY and make others Happy too.

What’s Human Happiness?

There is a Thai proverb that captures the essence of True Happiness, “False happiness makes people haughty and arrogant. Real happiness makes people joyful and fills them with wisdom and compassion.” This highlights the distinction between fleeting pleasures and genuine, deep-seated joy.

For example, some people keep saying, “I saved the money I wanted, and bought the house I wanted. So now I can sit back, enjoy a drink, and indulge in a few luxuries. What more can I want in life than that?”  This perspective may not fully encompass the true meaning of life.  It’s THE ILLUSION OF EXTERNAL HAPPINESS which is False Happiness.

“It’s easy to fall into the trap of believing that external achievements—wealth, possessions, or status—will bring lasting happiness. While material comforts can provide temporary pleasure, they may not necessarily lead to lasting fulfillment. This is the illusion of external happiness.”

What is real Happiness?

The true meaning of happiness involves a state of contentment and well-being, characterized by feelings of joy, satisfaction, and fulfillment.

But Happiness is Subjective in Nature. “It’s a deeply personal experience. What brings joy to one person may not bring the same level of satisfaction to another.”

Moreover, some people possess great material wealth but are unhappy. On the other hand, it is quite possible to be materially poor yet enjoy great happiness. All people are different and perceive things differently.

The treasure of happiness cannot be found in a life of ease and idleness because reality is harsh

How can we become happy?

It’s a fundamental question of life.

True happiness stems from a strong sense of self. A solid understanding of our values, strengths, and limitations is crucial for cultivating genuine happiness. It begins with self-reflection—exploring what truly matters to us and aligning our actions with our core values.”

Action Points To Become Happy:-

1. BE TRUE TO YOURSELF –

We should reflect on our values and priorities to understand what truly brings joy.

2. CULTIVATING GRATITUDE –

We should regularly acknowledge the positive aspects of life through gratitude journaling or mindful reflection.

3. PRACTICE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE –

We should dedicate time to meaningful interactions with loved ones. It will nurture your relationship with them.

4. FINDING JOY IN ACTION –

You should engage in meaningful activities such as pursuing your hobbies, volunteering work, or activities that align with working for others’ happiness, which will become the reason for your smile.

5. FIND JOY IN THE PRESENT-

Happiness is always there when you live in the present moment.

6. FIND HAPPINESS IN EVERYDAY’S THINGS –

You can find Happiness in common things, too. Appreciate the small joys that life offers.

7.     ACCEPT YOURSELF–

Embrace your strengths and weaknesses. Be confident and peaceful instead of comparing yourself to others.

“It’s easy to fall into the trap of comparing our lives to others and believing that happiness lies elsewhere. However, true fulfillment often arises from appreciating the present moment and finding joy in our current circumstances.”

In short, a real sense of happiness and deep satisfaction in life can only be found within us. This is THE POWER OF SELF REFLECTION.

“Living with a sense of purpose, whether it’s through personal growth, contributing to society, or pursuing meaningful relationships, can provide a deep sense of satisfaction and fulfillment.”

Let’s lead vibrant, enjoyable lives. When we firmly believe that our life is a treasure tower and that each one of us has enough potential to fight every difficult situation.

If you are an optimistic person then you are strong because you will see the positive in everything and decide to make it a reality for all to see. You will remain undefeated by whatever happens in life through TRANSFORMING HARDSHIP INTO JOY and will always be laughing off at adversity like the famous comic actor Charlie Chaplin.

Our attitude changes everything. This is one of the great wonders of life, and at the same time, an undeniable reality.

A proverb says: “Do not complain that the rosebush has thorns, but rejoice that the thorn bush has roses.” Our perception changes depending on our outlook.

There’s a story that perfectly captures this truth: A businessman, tired of his friend’s constant complaints, offered to take him to a place where no one had any problems. Intrigued, the friend agreed. The businessman led him to a cemetery, explaining that problems and challenges are an inherent part of life. This story reminds us that challenges are an inevitable part of being alive, and it is through overcoming them that we find meaning and enrich our lives.

Both suffering and joy are a part of life; this is life’s reality. Without struggle, there is no genuine happiness.

“Cultivating optimism and resilience allows us to navigate challenges with grace and emerge stronger. It’s about learning from setbacks, adapting to change, and finding opportunities for growth in every experience.”

The diamond is regarded as the king of gemstones.

How are diamonds formed? It’s widely known that diamonds are made up of Carbon. Deep in Earth, this material is exposed to intense heat and pressure until it is transformed into the crystalline structure of a diamond.

This is similar to how we develop ourselves. Only when subjected to the concentrated pressure of hardships and the fierce heat of great adversity will the core of our lives, our deepest self, be transformed into the Diamond-like indestructible life state’s person who sparkles like the most perfect of Diamonds.

People who have a vibrant life force are happy.

HAPPINESS IS FOUND WHERE WE ARE

In short, a real sense of happiness and deep satisfaction in life can only be found within us. We are able to transform where we live right now into a place of Victory and Happiness.

True happiness stems from within and can be cultivated through self-awareness, meaningful connections, and a positive outlook.

“Embrace the journey of self-discovery, cultivate meaningful connections, and live a life filled with purpose and joy.”

REMEMBER, HAPPINESS IS A JOURNEY, NOT A DESTINATION.

“I hope this article inspires you on your Journey to Happiness.”
